About the Owner

Jay Harvey brings over two decades of broadcast IT and post-production engineering experience spanning Hollywood studio lots to national news organizations. His career includes senior leadership roles supporting high-profile productions at major studios including Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood and Radford Studio Center in Studio City.

Formally the Senior Technical Engineer of Production Services for Paramount Global | CBS Media Ventures Division, Jay led infrastructure strategy, deployment, and operational support for productions including Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, The Drew Barrymore Show, Judge Judy, and numerous Emmy-winning teams.

His expertise spans Avid production systems, Media Central, shared storage architecture, remote editorial environments, archive systems, and enterprise-level Active Directory administration. Jay has engineered and supported post-production environments coast to coast in multiple countries.

Hudson Valley Media Systems was founded to bring that same Hollywood-level production infrastructure and support to productions working in the Hudson Valley and New York region.
